Losalios is an instrumental band from Japan which plays a mix somewhere between Jazz, Rock, Punk and Avant-garde which could be considered Math rock.
Losalios was started by Tatsuya Nakamura, drummer for Blankey Jet City, as a solo project called "Love Shop Losalios" in 1996. His first work was "GABIRU", recorded in a room of an abandoned hotel. While Nakamura created all sounds for these recordings himself, he was joined in 1999 by other musicians such as ζ΅
δΊε₯δΈ (Asai Kenβichi, ex BJC), Toshiyuki Terui (ex BJC), Ken Morioka and members of ζ±δΊ¬γΉγ«γγ©γγ€γΉγͺγΌγ±γΉγγ© for the first release under the name Losalios called "Sekaichizu-wa-chinoato".
Apart from founder Nakamura the lineup is constantly changing from record to record, though it usually includes TOKIE on bass, Takashi Kato (from ζ±δΊ¬γΉγ«γγ©γγ€γΉγͺγΌγ±γΉγγ©) on guitar, and Shinji Takeda on saxophone. .
