Minimal Youth are London based electronica three piece formed of John Watt and Robert Lintott from The Group Dynamic and Junior Frank, who teamed up in 2007 after a long working history of making underground dance music both together and as solo artists. Bringing the underground to the mainstream with their innovative debut single “For Granted” - Minimal Youth lay haunting melodies, twisted synths and glitchy percussion onto a backdrop of deep minimal techno.

The “For Granted” music video, developed by cutting edge Swedish director Jens Janson and much hyped illustrator/animator Elin Svensson, adds further to the beautiful yet dark feel of the project. The unusual 3D paper collage stop motion style used in the video has lead to features in publications including UK national newspaper Metro and design magazine Grafik, and was received with widespread critical acclaim when first showcased at “Freerange” Europes largest design graduate showcase in Brick Lane, East London.

Having recently become a part of the Help Yourself family, the highly respected independent label founded and run by French touch house legend Demon, Minimal Youth have since remixed for a number of Help Yourselfs other artists including Ari and Demon himself.

As a live act, Minimal Youth perform a highly dynamic DJ style set which uses a mix of Computers, CDJ’s, synthesizers and effect units and are currently taking bookings for their upcoming Asian tour.
