Noblesse is a three-piece alternative rock band based in The Hague.
The band recently completed their sophomore album We Are Not Humanity, produced by the American producer Gordon Raphael who has previously produced the first two albums of The Strokes, as well as albums for Regina Spektor, Skin and Beatsteaks.

The album was released on the 12th of March, 2010, with a special release performance in the Melkweg (The Max) in Amsterdam.
The preview EP of this album, We Are Not A Demo, was given out for free at the band's recent shows (2000 copies handed out!) and except for getting critical praise saw Noblesse open for Keith Caputo at Patronaat and support Silversun Pickups in front of a sold out Melkweg.

First reviews of We Are Not Humanity are in:
''The songs are thrilling and grab you by the throat. Every number creates a thought process and has it's own character. Noblesse have become a band with an international allure''
... LiveXS Magazine

"Art rock may be the name of a genre, but in Noblesse’s case you can also take those terms separately, because We Are Not Humanity is not just a very solid rock album, it also is a work of art. We Are Not Humanity is without a doubt the most impressive album release of the year so far"... Inner Ear Media

The story of Noblesse started in the early days of 2005. Singer/guitarist Amos, bass player Shahar and drummer Gideon decided to stop avoiding fate and formed the band Noblesse. The half-Israeli half-Dutch trio wasted very little time before releasing their first EP. ‘Four Song Demo’ got raving reviews all around, as a highlight getting named ‘Demo of the Month’ by music magazine Fret. As a result they appeared live on 3FM radio, The Music In My Head festival, Gentse Feesten and toured to Tel Aviv and Berlin.
In late 2006 Noblesse released their debut album, Sound The Alarm, produced by Henk Koorn (Hallo Venray). The album got the band selected as Local Heroes by LiveXS magazine, got national radio airplay, and again the reviews were loving. By the time the 30 show album -tour was over the band had built an impressive live résumé, adding venues such as Paradiso, Waterfront, So What, Speakers and Paard van Troje to a long list of club, radio and festival appearances.

After the dust settled, Noblesse decided it was time to explore new creative territories and use Amos’ experience as a professional dancer and choreographer. They went on to create a new live performance concept named after their new album , We Are Not Humanity (WANH). This unique show combines the songs of the new album with explosive modern dance, theater and video. The premiere performance of WANH during Cadance festival ‘08 was sold out and received a standing ovation. For the recent album release event the show was recreated in the main hall of the Melkweg, Amsterdam's premiere music venue, and will continue to tour throughout 2010.
In a relatively short time Noblesse has grown into a mature, well respected and loved band, with a unique sound of its own. Now releasing an accomplished and vital new album, the future looks bright for Noblesse.

“kick-ass indie-rock polished off with powerful vocals, shakes us up and grips us till the end of the show”… 3voor12 Webzine
