Resoe aka Dennis Uprock aka Krew has been involved in the music business for more than 20 years. He started out as a Hip Hop DJ in the 1986 at the early age of 14, but when House made it´s impact in Europe in the late 80´s he picked up on that. That was the start of the passion he developed for Electronic Music. He played as a Techno DJ in the early 90´s but around 1994 he focused more on Deep House. During that time, he played more or less in every underground club in his hometown of Copenhagen. In 1997 he started to work in the legendary record store, but now closed Loud Music which were one of the institutions of the Copenhagen underground music scene.
Around 1998 he bought his first sampler, which was the beginning of his interest in music production. He experimented for years in the studio, twisting knobs and cutting up samples. He´s a member of the Danish Hip Hop/Soul Collective “Nobody Beats The Beats” where he released the single Abstract Soul feat. Joy Morgan: Can´t I Be Loved on the album “The Second Coming”. He then got involved with a project the Danish National Radio launched in 2004 called Radio Recordings Vol. 1 where he released the track Krew: Industrial Dawn. In 2005 he got contacted by Beta Lounge (Hamburg) about a collaboration between them, and the library label Selected Sound where he produced 9 tracks as Sedrian for the Selectronica series.
In 2007 he decided to start up his own label baum records, to create a platform for his own and other artists releases. The style of music that he does under his moniker Resoe is Deep Dub Techno.
