The Mothership Orchestra is an indie rock band formed in Požega, in August 2005 by Lazar Šijak and Dragomir Smiljanić having previously been members of Mothership and Ivan Trajković and Ivan Tešić. In the next few moths Marko Ćebić and Željko Negić (who left the band in 2007) joined the band, thus forming the final ''Waking The Dead'' (EP, 2006) line-up.

Songs ''Then She Kissed Him'' and '' When The Sun Wants To Show (Something You Don't Know)'' reached the top of the charts for the couple of weeks. The same year, TV Metropolis finds them to be The Best New Band. They release EP ''Everything And Notning Tales''(Live!) in 2007 and, soon after, the two releases have their concert debut. In 2007 TMO takes part in ''Nova srpska scena : Jutro će promeniti sve?'' (PGP RTS, 2007), a compilation album which features some of the most promising bands in Serbia at that period.
