El Cortez is a trance project of two EDM producers/DJs Roger Pierre Shah (aka DJ Shah) and Thomas Godel (aka DJ Cosmo), both from Germany. They also produce music together under the alias 'Purple Mood'. For the 'El Cortez' alias, they have produced only one track so far (as of March 2008) - a melodic trance track called 'Desert Rose'. This was produced in 2006 and was included in Dutch trance producer/DJ Menno de Jong's first DJ mix compilation titled 'Menno de Jong Presents: Intuition Sessions Volume 1: South Africa'. This was released in June 2007 from the Dutch trance label 'Intuition Recordings'. .
