1) Vaccine war eine Alternative-Rock-Band aus München, Deutschland, die 2001 gegründet wurde und sich 2009 auflöste. Vaccine spielten seit 2004 Konzerte und waren (seit Juli 2008) zu dritt.

Vaccine waren Finalisten im Münchner "Sprungbrett Bandwettbewerb 2005" und gewannen den Bandwettbewerb “Stadt-Land-Rock 2006” vom Tollwood Festival und der Süddeutschen Zeitung. 2007 erhielten sie den Jury-Spezialpreis im Regionalfinale des internationalen "GBOB - Global Battle Of the Bands"-Wettbewerbs. Sie sind auf mehreren CD-Samplern mit ihren Liedern vertreten, u.a. auf dem Kultzone Münchensampler #7 und dem Subkultur Sampler 2008. Alle Lieder von Vaccine haben englische Texte.

Vaccine werden manchmal mit alternativen Rockbands wie Radiohead, Kashmir, Muse und Coldplay wegen ihres grüblerischen, introspektiven, dunklen und melancholischen Klangs verglichen.

2) Vaccine (Christine Clements) is a female dubstep producer based in California, USA[3]. She is notable for being the first female producer signed to a label (Hotflush Recordings) within what was up until then a genre almost, if not entirely comprised of male producers[3]

Vaccine's style has been recognised as being considerably more melodic and not necessarily as dancefloor-orientated as her male cohorts, with XLR8R magazine noting her 'subtle melodies and echoed vocals', as well as stating that '(Vaccine's) constructions aren’t necessarily main floor rave fodder, but rather, comedown music for a 6 a.m. all-back-to-mine', as well as mentioning 'jittery electronic elements with gothic ambient nuances'[4].

Clements is a self-described Skinny Puppy and Portishead fan.[4]
