Nolwenn Leroy (* 28. September 1982 in Saint-Renan in der Bretagne) ist eine französische Sängerin. Ihr Vater ist der Fußballprofi Jean-Luc Le Magueresse. Nach der frühen Entdeckung ihres musikalischen Talents nahm sie während der Schulzeit Geigenuntericht. 1998 lebte sie für ein Jahr als Austauschschülerin in den USA und schrieb sich nach ihrer Rückkehr am Musikkonservatorium in Vichy ein. 2001 begann sie an der Universität von Clermont Ferrand ein Jurastudium mit dem Ziel einer diplomatischen Karriere. Animiert durch die erste Folge der Star Academy, einer französischen Variante der Castingshows Anfang der 2000er, nahm sie Gesangsunterricht bei dem durch die Show bekannt...

Geboren in Indianapolis, erlangte Vinnegar seine Bekanntheit als Bassist in Los Angeles in den 1950er und '60er Jahren. Sein besonderes Markenzeichen war das rhythmische Walking Bass-Spiel, eine ständige Abfolge von aufsteigenden und abfallenden Noten, was ihm den Spitznamen "The Walker" einbrachte. Vinnegar hatte autodidaktisch das Bassspiel gelernt und seine Karriere als Pianist in lokalen Clubs begonnen.
