Franciscus Bossinensis (fl. 1510) (Francis the Bosnian) was a composer. Although his name suggest his Bosnian origin, this is a point of historical debate. Some experts consider him a Croat and some that he was Bosniak. He lived and worked in Venice. He published two collections of his lute music (containing 126 frottolas and 46 ricercares), printed by the Venetian printing house Petrucci. .

French composer. His lament for Machaut in ballade form in the Chantilly MS is the earliest known of many 'Déplorations'(elegies) for famous composers; it has sustained chords (possibly quoted from the Gloria and Credo of Machaut's Mass) at the words 'La mort Machaut.' .

Franciscus Henricus Antheunis, professionally known as Franciscus Henri (born 7 August 1947), is an internationally known musician and children's entertainer. He is Dutch born. He has dual Dutch/Australian nationality. He performs as himself and also as his alter-ego Mister Whiskers, a travelling singer who loves children and performs for them with his dog companion, Smiggy. Born in The Hague, The Netherlands, Henri came to Australia in 1956, where he finished schooling and became a qualified secondary arts and craft teacher.
