Interlude wurde im Spätsommer 2003 von Bassist Thomas Schaub und Drummer Andreas Puyskens gegründet. Das final Line-Up entstand Ende 2003 mit Lead Gitarrist Frederik Buckstegge und Rhythm Gitarrist Alex Nolting. 2006 trat Daniel Sänger der Band bei und verpasste den Vocals frische Power. Interlude zeichnet sich durch eine Vielzahl von Musikstilen aus. Jedes Bandmitglied hat seinen völlig eigenen Musikstil und es wird immer versucht, diesen ins Songwriting mit einfließen zu lassen.
