There are three known bands called Chapter 2:

1. A Nederbeat band from the Hague active in the late 1960s.

An obscure band known mainly from compilations featuring the track "East of My Place". They released an LP in 1966 titled "Page One" on the Philips label (#XPL 655 023).

2. Funk band led by Eric Krasno

Founding member and guitarist of beloved bands Soulive and Lettuce, Eric Krasno is taking his fifteen plus year career in a new direction with his first solo record, Reminisce (Royal Family Records).

Recorded in Brooklyn, NY and at Soulive drummer Alan Evan’s PlayOnBrother studios in Western Massachusetts, the album features longtime collaborators Adam Deitch (drums) and Nigel Hall (bass, keys and vocals), as well as Royal Family artists Neal Evans, Ryan Zoidis and Alan Evans.

Krasno will take the music of Reminisce on the road with his new band, Chapter 2, featuring Krasno on guitar and vocals, Nigel Hall on vocals and keys, Adam Deitch on drums, and Louis Cato on bass and vocals. With guest appearances from luminaries such as Derek Trucks, Questlove, Warren Haynes and George Porter Jr. of The Meters, Chapter 2 is a band to be seen and heard.

3. Based in NY/NJ, CHAPTER 2 started out with individual pieces coming together and making beautiful music.

As the pieces grew, so did the growth and diversification of the band's sound.

With all the pieces in place CHAPTER 2 is ready to showcase its brand of musical entertainment uniquely its own. The question now is - ARE YOU?

All accomplished performers in their own right, CHAPTER 2 members sought to elevate their musical artistry by banding together and exploring the synergies of combing their wide ranging musical influences into one unique sound.

Cutuy Herrero - Cutuy is no newcomer to the entertainment world. She is the daughter of flim and stage actor/comedian Subas Herrero of "Champoy" fame. She made her NY debut in 1997 in Noel Gamboa's production of Manila Nights. Since then, she has been showcasing her talent by performing as lead female vocalist in various bands throughout the New York and New Jersey area.

Dennis Sy - Dennis was a member of the NY singing group ALIBATA before embarking on various solo performances. He had 2 solo concerts in NY, front-acted for Banig at her City Center concert, a guest performer at Kuh Ledesma's Atlantic City show, and has performed with Dawn Dineros and Jennifer Cuneta at a Valentines show. He recorded and released a CD entitled COLOURS in 1998.

Noel Tampac - Chapter 2's resident comedian is also the heart and soul behind its well-recognized pop/acoustic harmonies. Noel got his musical chops from his training at the Asian Institute for Liturgy & Music. He has conducted various church choirs and was a member of the Christian choral group "HIS SOUNDS" where he met his lovely wife. He conducted the winning group at the first Filipino-American Choral Competition held at Lincoln Center in NY during the 90's, and also performed with a band called the "Sound Foundation". In the realm of pop/acoustic/rock music, his training has provided "structure" that has defined and enhanced Chapter 2's sound.

Wenchie Olitan - Wenchie started in the music biz at a very early age. He can play multiple instruments but decided to stick with the drums and percussions. He went to the Yamaha School of Music in the late 80's, then studied with Pat Petrillo (Patti Labelle's drummer) and Mike Smith (Progressive Jazz Instructor) in the 90's. He's been involved with recording music for R.L. Stein's "Goose Bumps", and has been playing in an all-original band doing the NY, NJ, and Philly circuits for ten years. Wenchie plays with various party bands and is currently the mainstay drummer for Chapter 2.

There was also another Chapter 2 which was an acoustic rock band from 2005-2007 in Arcata, CA. They split-up and reformed shortly after as The Zooidz in and around 2008, experimenting lighty with electricity. Members went on to form LoudMouth Soup and Ferrquer. For further info contact Ferrquer. .
