Primitive Man is a blackened sludge metal/doom metal band formed in February 2012 and features Ben Kennedy on Drums, Ethan Lee McCarthy on Vocals and Guitar(Clinging to the Trees of a Forest Fire, Death of Self) and Jonathan Campos on Bass (Reproacher) Their debut full length "Scorn" is slated for an early 2013 release. .

Since forming in 1999, Reason 69 had four releases. The first of which, a split with local friends My Dad Joe, included 3 tracks by each band. Later the same year, the band created a 5 track EP by the name of P.T.D. (Punk Transmitted Disease). On the strength of these tracks, the band were signed by 20 Deck Records. Reason to Believe were the most atypical of the mid-late 1980's Southern California hardcore bands. Their lyrics were poetic and talked about personally meaningful topics like love and respect for women, and poetry itself, and stood apart from the obtuse LA-NYC scene warfare double-talk, and anthemy finger-pointing songs of the day, they were more influenced by DC bands than by any of their local peers.
