Formed in early 1998 and signed to Klankboom Music Publishing, Voltage Control is a group from Canada that combines the efforts of Rod C. Dornian (of Mannequin Depressives), Russ Magee, and Nebulous.
The music is best described as Atmospheric Industrial electronic pop, influenced by Front 242, Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis; an eclectic and rather unique fusion of some of the best elements of the Industrial and New Age electronic movements.
The group abridged their name to VCon to avoid confusion with the original Antler Subway act named Voltage Control.
