Clandestines are a Maltese three-piece Indie Rock/Alternative band consisting of Daniel Abdilla, Neil Stafrace and Samuel Xiberras. The band first became active on the gig circuit in 2011 and since then has played various concerts in and outside of Malta, including Wakefields 'Long Division Festival' in 2011 and 2012. In 2012 the band released their first EP on English based label Philophobia Records entitled Spectemur Agendo which featured two other bands from the UK. Ablaze My Sorrow was founded in the early nineties, and after the requisite demo or two, they recorded two albums in the late nineties, before internal problems threatened to split up the band altogether. They finally rebounded, and released Anger, Hate And Fury in 2002. The Four Blazes were an American R&B vocal and instrumental group formed in Chicago and popular in the 1940s and 1950s. They were also occasionally known as The Five Blazes or just The Blazes. The group was formed in 1940 by drummer Paul Lindsley "Jelly" Holt, an experienced Chicago musician who had previously been a member of the Five Rhythm Rocketeers. The Rocketeers had a residency at the Grand Terrace Ballroom, and linked up with Earl Hines for a European tour in 1939.
