Susannah McCorkle (4 January 1946–19 May 2001) cantante americana de jazz, muy admirada por su estilo sencillo y tranquilo. Nació en Berkeley, California donde realizó sus estudios universitarios en lenguajes modernos. Su carrera como cantante profesional empezó a finales de los 60 tras escuchar unos disco de Billie Holiday en París. Llegó a ser intérprete en la comisión europea en Bruselas, pero se trasladó a Londres en 1972 para continuar con su carrera musical. Una vez allí, pudo editar dos álbumes los cuales tuvieron un éxito relativamente limitado. .
