Subhumans es una banda punk inglesa formada en 1980. La banda lanzó un demo en 1981 llamado "Demolition War". Este demo fue escuchado por uno de los miembros de Flux of Pink Indians. Estos quedaron tan impresionados con el trabajo de Subhumans que le ofrecieron sacar un album en la discográfica Spiderleg creada por Flux of Pink Indians. The Subhumans sprang from the moist and foetid undergrowth of the British Columbian rain forest in the spring of 1978, and were soon a vital part of the wild, raucous, and tempestuous Vancouver punk scene.
