Alka_Rex is the collaborative project of Sasha Kline and Eddie Krilov.

Sasha Kaline is a sound installation artist and graphic designer residing in New York. Since early childhood, he has been fascinated by acoustic phenomena. In 1995, he turned his attention to electronic technologies and his world forever chaged as the computer became his most beloved musical instrument. Over the following years he learned a number of programming languages as well as software environments. In 1998 he founded the Gravitonium Studios for producing new forms of minimal techno and psychoacoustics.

Eddie Krilov is a DJ and music producer residing in New York City. Music has always been his internal refraction. By 1993 Krilov was fully immersed in underground DJ culture. As a live performer, he is known for exceptional selection of music, superior skills and dynamic interaction with listeners. He has created “Sonic Pleasures,” a critically acclaimed series of minimal techno mix compilations.

In 2001, Eddie and Sasha began a collaborative project under the name of Alka_Rex. They have created critically acclaimed recordings for highly respected labels such as Resopal Shallware, Supralinear (Force Inc sublabel), Musique Risquee, Thema, and SP.
