Sylwia Wiśniewska is a Polish nu-jazz singer born in Warsaw.

She began singing at the age of fifteen and received training in classical guitar and piano. At the beginning of her career, she worked in the "Syrena" Theater and then moved to the "Powszechny" Theater, where she took part in the Krystyna Janda's "Panna Tutli-Putli" musical in 1995.

After several years of theatrical work, she began performing as a vocalist. She was a member of a Polish girlsband Taboo from 1997 to 1999: the group released their only album titled "One".

In 2000, Sylwia Wiśniewska released her first solo album Cała Ty (English: "The Whole of You"). Her second album Dedykacja (English: "Dedication") came out in 2004; the promotional single 12 Łez (English: "12 Tears") became a huge hit and occupied the first place of many of the Polish Top 40 rankings.

Currently Sylwia Wiśniewska is working on her new album and is a member of the international musical collective "Karimski Club".

Privately she is the wife of Polish musician Karim Martusewicz.
