Biography :

ZAKARYA, french quartet founded in 1999, was discovered by JOHN ZORN. The first time he heard the compositions of YVES WEYH, the unclassified accordionist and leader of the band, he offered them to produce and release their first album on his prestigious label: TZADIK.

ZAKARYA was the first french band to be produced by JOHN ZORN, on TZADIK.
They released 4 albums on this label.

The 5th, "Greatest Hits", will be released in october 2011, still on TZADIK.
