It all started in Antwerp in the year 2000, when The Agitators were founded from the ashes of a few bands like Double U.S. and Eightball. The purpose of the project was to make sing-a-long streetpunk with lyrics about stuff happening in daily life. The style of The Agitators is best described as hard in-your-face Oi!/Streetpunk with catchy sing-a-long parts. Heavy straight edge hardcore in the vein of merauder, ringworm, judge, excessive force, xchorusx, earth crisis, ect. They have released a 5 song demo, "enter vice lords" ep (harvcore records), "walls closing in" ep (six feet under records) and most recently a full length entitled "Bleak" They are from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
