The Bravery est un groupe américain de rock originaire de New York formé fin 2003. Leur premier album éponyme est sorti en 2005. Leur musique a été inspirée par celle de Joy Division, des Cure ou encore de Depeche Mode, dont le groupe a d'ailleurs assuré la première partie pour leur tournée européenne 2006. Ils sont considérés comme les principaux rivaux des Killers de Las Vegas, en effet leurs musiques se ressemblent beaucoup. Michael Hutchence, born on January 22nd, 1960, started his career as the lead singer of INXS. After briefly experimenting with his own band Max Q, Hutchence wanted to record his own solo debut in 1997. Hutchence died tragically on 22 November 1997, and the record was released posthumously (after his death) in 1999.
