Cinderella est un groupe de hard rock formé en 1983 par le chanteur / compositeur / guitariste Tom Keifer et le bassiste Eric Brittingham. Cinderella a été découvert par Gene Simmons, le bassiste de Kiss, mais c'est Jon Bon Jovi qui a permis au groupe de signer avec Derek Shulman sur Polydor / Mercury. Les deux premiers albums du groupe se sont vendus à trois millions d'exemplaires chacun aux États-Unis. Cinderella Effect is a solo-project of DJane Constance, also vocalist of Blutengel. The first album ("Pearls") consists of 15 covered versions of well-known Independent-Hits like After Dark, Black Hole Sun or Black No.1. This project was supported by many studio-artists, especially by Coralie Thomas & Katja Gutowski. It contains minimalistic electronical background music, paired with classical to modern instruments leading the focus to the vocals. There were 2 distinct groups named The Cinderellas 1) The Cinderellas recording group was most often made up of members of The Cookies, augmented by Earl-Jean McCrea's sister Darlene. Their records differed from The Cookies in that the lead vocal was usually taken by Margaret Ross rather than Earl-Jean, as on "Baby, Baby (I Still Love You)" and "Please Don't Wake Me".
