Shania Twain née Eilleen Regina Edwards le 28 août 1965 à Windsor, (Ontario, Canada) - est une chanteuse de country canadienne. Elle est l'artiste féminine qui détient le record de ventes pour le même album : Come on Over s'est vendu à plus de 38 millions d'exemplaires et se classe 7e meilleure vente d'album de tous les temps, toutes catégories confondues. En 2005, elle est devenue membre de l'Ordre du Canada. Elle habite à Corseaux, dans le canton de Vaud, en Suisse depuis 2006. .

Le compositeur français François-Eustache Du Caurroy est né à Gerberoy (Oise) le 4 février 1549 et mort à Paris le 7 août 1609. Né près de Beauvais, Du Caurroy fut étudiant de Claude Le Jeune. D'abord chantre à la Chapelle royale d'Henri III, il se mit à composer et remporta deux fois le Puy d’Évreux : en 1575, il obtint le cornet d'argent pour une chanson à quatre voix, et en 1576, il reçut l'orgue d'argent pour son motet à cinq voix Tribularer si nescirem. En 1583, un luth d'argent le récompensa pour Beaux yeux, une chanson à cinq voix....

The recording did not suffer at all from the mobile equipment, and The Trance of Seven Colors lives up to its title, giving the listener first-hand access to Gnawa healing ceremonial music.
