Brand New est un groupe de rock américain formé en 2000. Leur troisième album The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me a été lancé le 21 novembre 2006. Vers la fin des années 1990, Jesse Lacey, Garrett Tierney et Brian Lane faisaient tous partis de The Rookie Lot, un groupe de post-hardcore. Après la rupture de The Rookie Lot, Lacey, Lane et Tierney commencèrent a jouer ensemble avec Vincent "Vin" Accardi complètant le groupe. Le nom Brand New vient d'une chanson des Beastie Boys. .

Brandy est une chanteuse de R&B et actrice. Elle est plus connue pour son rôle vedette dans « Moesha », le sitcom de UPN, et pour ses tubes comme « Sittin' Up in My Room », « Have You Ever? » et « The Boy Is Mine ».
