René Jacobs (Born: October 30, 1946, Ghent) is a Belgian (Flemish) musician. He came to fame as a countertenor but in recent years has become renowned as a conductor of Baroque and early Classical opera. His recordings have won numerous awards, including the Grammy Award for "Best Opera", Gramophone 's "Record of the Year", and numerous European awards. Jacob Albert Young (born 14 July 1970, Lillehammer, Norway) is a Norwegian Jazz musician (guitar), music arranger, composer and band leader, known from a series of recordings with, among others, Karin Krog, Arild Andersen, Larry Goldings, Nils Petter Molvær, Bendik Hofseth, Terje Gewelt, Per Oddvar Johansen, Arve Henriksen, Jarle Vespestad, Trygve Seim, Mats Eilertsen, Vigleik Storaas, Christian Wallumrød, Bendik Hofseth, Håkon Kornstad, Knut Reiersrud and Audun Erlien.[1] .
