Jacintha Abisheganaden (née le 3 octobre 1957), également connue sous le nom de Jacintha ou Ja, est une chanteuse et actrice singapourienne. Jacin was born in Burkina Faso and raised in Ivory Coast (Africa). After years of listening to roots artists such as Bob Marley, Alpha Blondy, Augustus Pablo, King Tubby, and many others, he began to build riddims. Every day after shcool he would practice and improve his musical skills with friends and neighbours. Henkie is a singer from the Netherlands. Born in Elst he started singing as a hobby next to his job as a bicycle salesman. Henkies first succes was the song 'de fiets van piet van pa' (the bicycle from Piet from dad). His bigges succes this far was 'lief klein konijntje' (lovely litte rabbit) witch got him 26nd place in the Dutch top 40 and a golden record. Jacinto Silva (1933- 2010?) was a popular Brazilian singer and composer of côco, a traditional rythm from Northeast Brazil. Jacinto started his career early as a 8-year-old boy singing at local fairs and festivals in and around Palmeiras dos Indios, Alagoas, his hometown. Between 1962 and 2000, he recorded over 20 albums, creating a distintic version of côco called côco sincopado. .
