David Elias is an original singer/songwriter who is hard to characterize but easy to listen to. Often compared to many powerful songwriters and lyricists including John Prine, Guy Clark, early Dylan, Townes Van Zandt and Paul Simon, he is not fixed on any single genre of music but incorporates bits of many styles into his presentations which range from stark to downright raucous. Elias Rahbani is a Lebanese Lyrical Author, Composer, Orchestra arranger & conductor. Born in 1938, in Antelias, Lebanon, he is one of the three Rahbani brothers and is probably the most prolific in terms of recordings. He is a promoter of the Lebanese vague of Occidental song (since 1961) specially French, and has won numerous awards and much critical acclaim for his works.
