Charlie Ray Wiggins, aka. Raphael Saadiq connait la célébrité au début des années 90 avec son groupe «Tony! Toni! Tone!» formé avec son frère Dwayne et son cousin Timothy Christian. Né en 1966 à Oakland (Californie), Raphael Saadiq a commencé la musique à l’âge de six ans et joue plus tard de la basse dans les églises et les écoles.
