The Casualties est un groupe punk ayant vu le jour en 1990 a New York aux États-Unis. Dès leur tout début, le groupe voulait présenter a travers leur chansons le style hardcore du punk des années 80. The Casualties est composé de Jorge au chant, Jake à la guitare, Meggers à la batterie et Rick à la basse. Ils ont sorti un dvd presentant leurs tournées au Japon et au Mexique : Can't stop us. Yet another victim in the misplaced hype of British music journalists, the Bardots formed in the East Anglia area of England in 1989. Simon Dunford (guitar/vocals), Andy Murphy (guitar), Steve Cox (bass), and Neil Cox (drums) had begun playing together in university and in 1990 released their debut single, Sofaelaine, a flexi-disc release. After their first more "official" single, Sad Anne, the band added a fifth member (Krzysztof Fijalkowski on guitar) and got a deal with Cheree Records. Dutch all-girl group the Dolly Dots formed in 1979. The group consisted of Angela Groothuizen, Ria Brieffies, Esther Oosterbeek, Patty Zomer, Anita Heilker and Angéla Kramers. Their first single "(Tell It All About) Boys" was an immediate hit in Holland, Belgium and Germany. 26 other hits followed between February 1979 and October 1988. The girls were also quite popular in Germany, Turkey, Lebanon, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and most of all, Japan. Plus Dots come from Athens, Greece and play a mixture of techical hardcore/punk with reggae music and some touches of ska. They consist of a massive bass, drums and guitar part and a powerful horn section(alto-tenor sax and a trumpet). In 2007 they released their first record entitled "Give Me One Kickstart Beat For Breakfast" with an independent greek label called Feedback Sound.The ep included 6 ska/punk anthems and a dub remix.
