Aloha From Hell was a pop punk band formed in 2006, in Aschaffenburg, Germany, consisting of Vivien Eileen "Vivi" Bauernschmidt (vocals), Moritz "Moo" Keith (guitar), Andreas "Andi" Gerhardt (guitar), Max Forman (bass), and Felix "Feli" Keith (drums). They were the winners of a new-band contest sponsored by the German teen magazine "Bravo." The group's debut album No More Days to Waste was released on January 16, 2009. On July 15, 2010, the members announced the breakup of the band. Their last show rocked the stage in Hainsfahrt, Germany, on July 24, 2010. .

Members of Gomez, Phantom Planet and Maroon 5 team up for Operation Aloha. The 14 musicians who make up Operation Aloha had an amazing opportunity. With a month of free time in between tours, recording and the general chaos of their schedules, each musician flew to the to the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii to live in a strange compound of tree houses with friends whom they respect and share common interests with. Captivated by the magnificence of the island, members of Maroon 5, Gomez and Phantom Planet, among others, decided to plug in some instruments and see what happens....
