The DYNOTONES, hailing from Orange, California, are a four piece surf/hot rod combo consisting of Dano Nichols (guitar), Dan Moses (guitar), Rob Kruse (bass Guitar), and Scott Simpson (drums). Influences of the band include Astronauts, Link Wray, Bobby Fuller, the Pyramids, and the Ventures. The DYNOTONES have been playing their brand of instrumental rock-n-roll since the spring of 1995. The band was reformed with new members Dan Moses and Rob Kruse in June of 1998. Known for their high energy performances, The DYNOTONES have shared stages with the likes of Los Straightjackets, the Bomboras, Deke Dickerson, and the Ghastly Ones....

Philip Parris Lynott (20 August 1949 – 4 January 1986) was an Irish singer, instrumentalist and songwriter, who first came to prominence as a member of Thin Lizzy. Lynott was born in Hallam Hospital (now Sandwell General Hospital) in West Bromwich (then in Staffordshire), England, the son of a Guyanese father, Cecil Parris, and a White Irish Catholic mother, Philomena (aka Phyllis) Lynott, whose surname he took. Keynote Speakerz is the group-project of Dutch (Utrecht based) MC/Producers Master Surreal and Skiggy Rapz. As Keynote Speakerz they both account for 50% of the rhymes and productions as they bridge the gaps between their styles. Their aim is to create “straight up” Hip-hop for open-minded music listeners. They’re set to release the “It’s Like That! E.P.” (vinyl) on October 13th and are working on a full length album slated for release late 2006 (both on Painted Dog Records).
