Carles Cases, born 1958, Sallent (Barcelona), Spain is a Catalan musician. He was trained in piano and cello at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu, in harmony and piano-jazz at the Hastad Modern Music Academy, and in orchestration and composition at the Instituto Superior de Arte de la Habana. He was a member of Lluís Rovira's Big Band in the 1970s.
