In the late 90's DJ Mobster (Hermanni Kovalainen) started off as a battle DJ. After years of DJ'ing at clubs, competing and eventually judging the battles, his interest in music production grew and he began to get recognition for his talents in beatmaking as well. His style is best described as an eclectic mix of organic and electronic sounds with rhythms that make your head nod. As well as working with many well known Finnish musicians, 24-year-old DJ Mobster has also collaborated with a handful of international artists.

Through touring with Finnish hip-hop acts around clubs, festivals and events in Finland, as well as opening for some of the hottest international artists, he has gained the confidence and experience to perform live. His premiere release "Mobmusic" includes featuring artists and musicians from Finland and abroad. The album is a diverse combination of hip-hop, urban club sound and soulful R&B.
