Solisia are an Italian band born in October 2006 when Wilson Di Geso and Marcantonio Quinto met, soon joined by Gianluca Quinto and Marilena Stigliano.
To have a full line-up they missed a bass player; but moved by a strong passion for the same kind of music, they started to write the first tracks in an unconventional studio even if a member was still missing. The first songs "Mystery" and "The Film" are born and in the meanwhile they kept on looking for a bass player; even if they seemed not to find any, Solisia kept on working hard, soon creating the tracks "Escape" and "Fog".
The time to record a promotional demo CD had come and a bass player was absolutely necessary; this is how they decided to call Andrea Arcangeli, form the Roman prog-metal bands DGM and Concept.
Andrea and Gianluca had known each other since 2003, so Andrea immediately accepted to work with him; so they started working together exchanging files through the Internet.
In March 2007 Andrea joined the band in their hometown and they started to record what today is the first official demo of the new-born band Solisia, titled "The Film Of My Life".
The 4 tracks deal with the subject of Life, and 3 out of 4 are written by Samantha Di Geso.
