James Last, nome d'arte di Hans Last (Brema, 17 aprile 1929), è un musicista, compositore e direttore d'orchestra tedesco. Autore di numerose musiche per il cinema, è anche arrangiatore e produttore discografico. Spesso si è esibito in duo - in disco ed in concerto - con il pianista Richard Clayderman.

He has released three solo albums and is most noted for his work with producer Flying Lotus and crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies.
