Tambalane was an indie rock band from Australia featuring Ben Gillies (of Silverchair fame) and fronted by Wes Carr, winner of Australian Idol (season 5). The group formed in 2004 but they parted ways just a year later, 2005 after releasing a self titled full length and an ep. The group had a JJJ radio hit with their catchy pop tune "Little Miss Liar". .
