Shpongle sono un duo Psybient formato da due produttori di grandissima esperienza, quali Simon Postford e Raja Ram. Entrambi hanno partecipato a decine di altri progetti (Hallucinogen, Younger Brother, Mistery of the Yeti...) e il loro suono unico è quello a cui aspirano tutti i produttori della scena psytrance.
Il loro primo album "Are You Shpongled" è sicuramente un must per gli amanti della musica elettronica.
Nella loro musica, le basi psichedeliche della musica trance-goa sono associate a musica etnica, canti sciamanici e altri strumenti insoliti, per esempio i lunghissimi assoli di flauto di Raja Ram.
