"The Launch" is a Canadian reality music competition series which promotes up-and-coming Canadian artists looking for their big break into mainstream fame. Each episode features five new Canadian artists competing for the opportunity to perform the episode's original song and to have their version of the song "launched" onto mainstream radio. The show's frontrunner is Scott Borchetta, "the man behind Taylor Swift." .
