Amélie was born in 1965 in Paris but moves to Canada as a child with her parents. She will learn there many various activities, such as playing music, acting and singing.Amelie will be on stage at an early age and gets involved pretty soon in theatres and musicals.

Amélie decides to go back to her native country and settles in Paris. Her impressive skills learnt in Canada are quickly noticed and appreciated in France.Amélie can sing, dance and act : an artistic career seems so obvious and starts soon.Amélie is spontaneous, sincere and dynamic. She lends then her talent and her so particular voice to a consequent number of fictitious characters. In the meantime, the French Television broadcasts many new cartoons which will definetely become an important part of its history.Amélie's knowledge is higly needed. For instance she becomes the official french voice of Candy Candy , the main character of a very famous japanese cartoon.Amélie plays Candy without modifying her voice, bringing thus to the character more sincerity and emotion than a simple imitation of a young girl's voice.

Fate will change her life the day she comes to see her brother at the studio of Milan to record a jingle for a commercial. She meets there Jean-Paul Malek who becomes instantly addicted to her delicate voice.Jean-Paul Malek asks rapidly Jean-Yves Luley to write songs which will fit perfectly to Amélie's strong personality.

This unexepected encounter gives birth to a first LP whose name is the title of the leading song: " J'etais venir pour dire bonjour ". The record is a real success and Amélie receives the " Diamant de la Chanson Française " a french award which enlightens the quality of a LP.Amélie's insolite and original universe gathers a large audience. The singer's particular voice invites everyone to a soft and feeric world ponctuated with disturbing and rough lyrics sometimes.A singer with a magical voice who tackles with present themes of our society.

Amélie's second album entitled "Drôle de dream" offers another voyage into the land of wonder and of the uncanny.Amélie is on the stage in the Forum des Halles and shares her two albums with her audience. The trip is engraved with dreams and melancolia. From encounters to signs of fate,Amélie goes on singing and acting. The French Radio greets Amélie on its waves and offers her the main roles of various radiophonic plays like ' Alice in Wonderland ', ' Richard the 3rd ' and ' La lampe donne sur ses yeux 'with Michaal Lonsdale and Daniel Labrun. This play was rewarded many times.

The French singer-icon Mylene Farmer has made back-up singing and whispering in one of Amélie's songs called Bazooka. .
