Dj Zorneus | ja

It is at the age of 13 and the assumed name of Dj Christophe that Kryst-Off (Zorneus) began his career. After some years of mix training, he created in collaboration with Stéphane his best friend the Discomobile “Project Control”, from it everthing follow on, the Discomobile is a huge success in Alsace and Kryst-Off is found himself on the front of the scene mixing even once for 1600 people whereas he was just 14, it was at Seebach.... A few times later, in 1995, Kryst-Off started like presenter on a local radio : Mélodie FM. He hosted the broadcast “Mélodie Techno Dance” then “New Mix” after the buying up of the radio station by NRJ group.
It was in 1996 that he made his first steps in discotheque entering in one of the most famous discotheque of Alsace : “Le Métro”. Dj of the club on Thursday and Sunday afternoon and light-jockey on week-end, he set his style an saw himself offering the residence of the club as Dj on Fryday night.
In 1998, the management asked him to lead the new discotheque : “Le Subway” (formerly the “K”). Known under the scene name of “Dj Christophe”, he decided to change the spelling to become “Dj Kryst-Off”. Keeping going, he opened a school of dj in Alsace, success had materialized but, he wanted to do more and after invited djs like “Da Hool” he went into production. Wanting to give a plus to the establishment, he brought out the single “Welcome To The Subway” and became in the tread the first resident dj in Bas-Rhin to bring out a single for a discotheque.
It took just 8 weeks to sell the 1000 specimens whereas it was sold just at the Subway! From it the scale of the single was so big that it ended at the top of the placing “Tous En Boite” of the radio station “Top Music” and was compiled in the album “French Djs” during the year 2000.
In 1999, he was seen offering a place on the St Omer’s scene where he appeard with the highest : Air-V from Manau, Mr Joy, Sous Le Manteau, etc... The event was organized by NRJ and MCM for more than 5000 people... It is there that Kryst-Off understood that it would be his vocation.
Always for the Subway, he produced “What is a Dj ?”, his second single.
In July 2000, wiser for this success, he decided to leave the Subway to to form an association with two persons to make a discotheque in Germany “Le Joker”, unfortunately, not having the same vision of the things as his two partners, he decided to leave and to set off on others projects. Then he brought out his first title on a national scale while signing at Airplay Universal: “Zorn: Stigmata”.
The title is a huge success and found itself on the compilations “Techno.com 6”, “Techno.com 2001” and in 2002 on “Mallorca Dance Hits” among in particular Floorfilla, Rank1, etc...
2001, new production : “Seaquest” with Dj L-K, that he signed at Scorpio Music (Sony). The title was compiled on “Virus Techno 6”, “Mega Dj 3” and in Belgium at News.
It is in September 2001 that he created the discotheque “Le Zorn” at Laning (Moselle), becoming at the same time the youngest manager of discotheque in France, maybe in Europe (www.lezorn.com)...
The 18 April 2002, for his 25, he brought out “Kontrol”, giving as well its first hit to the discotheque.
2003, he produced a hard-tech title, for Dj XDS from Atomic’x Agency : “Testing”, on the label V-Limited (www.v-limited.com)...
In October 2004, it is the opening of a second night-club with 3 halls “La Crypte” at Avricourt always in Moselle (www.lacrypte.com).
In November 2004, new project : Dj Zorneus “The Crypt”, big hit in differents countries, he signed his production on the label Hypetraxx Records and was compiled on many compilations, like the famous Viva Club Rotation vol 28, Top Of Trance, Hardstyle Nation vol 2, Mega Tuning vol 8, Club Attack 2005, Hardstyle Session, Hardstyle Mission...
In March 2005, Dj Zorneus “The Crypt”, was compiled on more than 17 compilations 4 of wich in France, and has shot the 4th placeof the hit’s scale of clubs in Swiss.
In June 2005, two news projects birth, “Zorneus” Stigmata, wich was brought out in picture disc, and “Kenobi” Underground, wich was always brought out on the label Hypetraxx Records.
In September 2005, Kryst-Off officialized his label “Lochness Records” and at the same time moved in news premises, where he arranged his new recording studio.
In December 2005, “Zorneus” Stigmata 4th of the club’s scale in Swiss, new project “Zorneus Dj Team” Don’t Leave Me with a Brooklyn Bounce remix and the opening of the web site Lochness Records (www.lochness-records.com).
In April 2006, new Dj Kryst-Off’s project “Kryst-Off vs Zorneus Dj” The Recall.
In January 2007, the project "Dr Zorn" - Ep1 is number 2 in the Austria charts.
In May 2007, it is the opening of a third night-club “Le Nexus” at Surbourg in Alsace (www.lenexus.com). To be continued.............
