ブレイキング・ベンジャミン (Breaking Benjamin) とは、アメリカ合衆国ペンシルベニア州,ウィルクスバールにて結成されたオルタナティブ・ロックバンドである。
アメリカでは圧倒的な人気を誇っている新世代オルタナティブ・ロックバンドで、これまでに4枚のアルバムをリリースしているが、その内2枚が全米で100万枚以上を売り上げる大ヒットを記録した。「怒りと悲しみが同居する、激しくもどこか切ない楽曲」が、彼等の持ち味である。

1998年にベンジャミン・バーンリーとジャーミー・ハメルが中心となり、結成。なお、「ブレイキング・ベンジャミン（壊している、ベンジャミン）」というバンド名についてだが、ある日バンドがニルヴァーナの楽曲を演奏している最中に、ヴォーカルのベンジャミン・バーンリーが目の前にあったマイクを蹴って破壊した事から由来すると言われている。その後、一時は「Plan 9」という新たなバンド名の案も出ていたが、あまり気に入らなかったそうである。
2002年初頭には、メジャーレベールのHollywood Recordsと契約を結び、直後に自身の名を冠した1stミニアルバム「Breaking Benjamin EP」でデビューを飾った。これが2000枚を売り上げ、それに続く形で同年8月27日に1stアルバム「Saturate」をリリース。このアルバムは、全米アルバムチャートにて初登場136位を記録している。
2004年6月29日には、2ndアルバムとなる「We Are Not Alone」をリリースし、全米アルバムチャートにて初登場20位を記録。その後もセールスは伸び続け、結果的に100万枚以上を売り上げ、プラチナム・ディスクに認定された。
2006年8月6日には、3rdアルバム「Phobia」をリリースし、全米アルバムチャートにて初登場2位を記録。同アルバムに収録されている1stシングル"The Diary of Jane"が、全米メインストリームロックチャートにて最高2位を記録し、続く2ndシングル"Breath"で遂に同チャートで1位を獲得。これらの成功と共にアルバムもセールスを伸ばし続け、結果的に前作と同じく100万枚以上を売り上げプラチナム・ディスクに認定。
2009年9月29日には、4thアルバム「Dear Agony」をリリースし、全米アルバムチャートにて初登場4位を記録。現在までに、全米で50万枚以上を売り上げ、ゴールド・ディスクに認定されている。 .
There are three artists with the name Dopamine.
1) Dopamine was a black metal/shoegaze/depressive rock project from China founded by Deng & Jiang in 2008, the vocalist, Zhao (from Be Persecuted) joined later in 2009. They only released a self-titled EP in March 2010, as well as contributing the song "Melting" to a split with Heretoir and Dernier Martyr before splitting up on April 6th, 2010. A compilation entitled "Dying Away in the Deep Fall" was released by one of Deng's record labels in 2011, Pest Productions which featured both songs from their self-titled EP and three previously unreleased tracks....

There is no fortuity about the existence of FLAMINGO band. All it’s members played football together since childhood and tried to make music at various local outfits. All the time they were heavily influenced by intense music such as MEW, RADIOHEAD, U2 or PINK FLOYD.

Dynamint is an Estonian dance-music band that got started in 2004. The duo consists of Taisi Pettai (1989) and Mari-Liis Aasmäe (1988). There was a third member Evelin Liivamägi (1991) originally, but she has left the band due to disagreements with the other members.
On March 13, 2007 the duo did his last performance in Pärnu.
