DATEKENとは、オリジナルの楽曲や、VOCALOIDを使用したオリジナルの楽曲を発表している製作者である。 VOCALOID4作目である『紡唄 -つむぎうた-』があっという間に殿堂入りを果たし一躍有名になったP。 しかし、初のVOCALOID作品となる『Midwinter』を投稿(2008年10月25日)する前の2005年7月からmuzieにオリジナルの作品を発表していた。DTM暦は1998年からと長くどの作品もmixとオケのレベルが非常に高い。 作品のジャンルはポップス、トランス、中華等と多岐に渡り使用する音(生音や電子音)も多いが電子音よりもアコースティックな音が得意である。 「Never」は、JOYSOUNDでのカラオケ配信が決定している。 2010年7月19日、フルアルバム『D.A. technology』と、リミックスアルバム『D.A. technology -remixes-』を同時リリース。現在、KarenTレーベルよりダウンロード販売が行われている。 .
