Rancid（ランシド）はアメリカ、カリフォルニア州バークレー出身のパンクロックバンド。91年結成。　Operation Ivy（オペレーション・アイヴィ：同じくバークレーで結成されたスカ・パンクバンド。）のメンバーであったTim Armstrong（ティム・アームストロング：G,Vo）Matt Freeman（マット・フリーマン：B,Vo）とTimのルームメイトであったBrett Reed（ブレット・リード：D）の３人で結成される。さらに93年にUK Subsなどで活動していたLars Frederiksen（ラーズ・フレデリクセン：G,Vo）が加わり４人編成となった。その後、06年にBrettが脱退を表明し代わりに元The UsedのBranden Steineckert（ブランテン・スタインエッカート：D）が加入する。 サウンド的にはハードコア、メロディックハードコアにカテゴライズされるが、Operation Ivyの延長線上に位置するスカ・パンク的な楽曲もあり、楽曲のボキャブラリィは広い。 影響を受けたといわれるバンドについてはBlack Flagをはじめとする西海岸のハードコアバンドや、彼らがルーツであると公言しているThe Clash、The Specialsに代表されるネオ・スカバンドがあげられる。また、NOFXやGreen　Dayなどの同世代のメロディック・パンクバンドからも大きな影響を受けている。 .

Fleshgod Apocalypse is a death metal band from Rome, Italy formed in 2007 by Hour of Penance member Francesco Paoli (Drums/Guitars/Backing vocals) , Christiano Trionfera (Guitars) and Paolo Rossi (Vocals/Bass, Promaetheus Unbound). Francesco Struglia joined the band after on Drums but left in 2008 due to personal interest change and other commitments. The band was previously known as the death/thrash metal act Tyrannic Ethical Reconstruction. Septicflesh (formerly Septic Flesh) is a Symphonic Death Metal/Gothic Death Metal Band were formed in Athens, March, 1990 by Sotiris Vayenas (guitar), Spiros Antoniou (bass and vocals), and Christos Antoniou (guitars), and quickly released a debut EP, Temple of the Lost Race in December, 1991.
