Hecho en México translates from Spanish as: "made in Mexico". This tag is used for artists and music from the southern neighbour to the USA. Mexico has a rich history in music styles and many artist have made the jump to the mainstream in Latin-America or even to the western culture with tropical sounds crossing borders during a golden era in the 40s and 50s fading in to the 60s.
