Declan "Dec" Burke (born May 22, 1972) is a guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist who has written, recorded and performed with Frost* and Darwin’s Radio. He has also toured with Frost* supporting Spock’s Beard and Dream Theater.

Dec formed Darwin’s Radio in 2003 with Mark Westworth. The band released the "Pictures EP" in 2003 and then "Eyes of the World" in 2006, culminating in their appearance at RosFest in Philadelphia in 2007. The band released the follow up "Template for a Generation" in August 2009. At the end of 2009, Dec announced he was moving on from Darwin’s Radio to concentrate on a solo venture.

The result of this was his first release "Destroy All Monsters", a nine track album coming in at 45mins and a more pop take on the prog genre. The sound has been described as a meld of Depeche Mode and Foo Fighters. The album was signed to Prog Rock Records, and was released in 2010.

Dec's second solo album "Paradigms & Storylines" was released in October 2011. It was mixed and produced by Stefan Fanden known for his work with Swedish prog band Carptree. Musicians featured on the album are, Stefan Fanden on bass guitar, Carl Westholm on keyboards, Mike Wikman on drums, Cia Backman on backing vocals and Dec on guitar/vocals/keyboards.

Dec appears on vocals and guitars on the Frost* albums “Experiments in Mass Appeal” in 2008 and the live album “The Philadelphia Experiment”, released in 2010, as well as the limited edition Tour CD from 2008 and "Frost*Fest" CD from 2009. .
