The story of Rajoitus... Founding members 'Jani' and 'Pete' sat around one night listening to old finnish hardcore and was so inspired they decided to put together a like such band. They took on two other people 'Marko' and 'Wacker' - some year later 'Wacker' moved away from town. In 1995 the band took on 'Pena' on drums and recorded their first demo 'Tuomittun Epäuskon Sortoon'.

The band performed their first show at a local gathering in a cultural centre one cold winter night in 1996. Some time after that the 12" 'Hardcore Attack 1995' was released by Distortion Records (swe). This record was the trax of the first demo. Soon after that the band recorded their second session which was released by Sludge Records (fra) as a 7" named 'Historia Kussessa'. Things went on and the band began doing shows outside their city. One of the shows was together with the polish metal/hardcore band 'Homomilitia'.

Later on the band went to Finland for two shows. One of those was the worst they ever did. However Jakke from Kaaos liked the performance and offered the band a record deal which later was released as 'Nyt On Kuolema Täällä' The End Records (fin) (by the time of recording 'Nyt On Kuolema Täällä' the former member 'Wacker' had found his way back to replace one of the founding members 'Pete', on guitar).

The other show on this Finland trip was the best show the band ever did - too bad it wasn't caught on tape. However, this frequency of ups and downs kinda reflects the luck/destiny - good and bad - that this band have gone through. The canadian label Ugly Pop (can) got in touch to do a release with the band, it took a while but it was released as the 7" 'Systeemiin Naulittu'. As of now, the band has recorded a new fullength album 'Hat Mörker Amfetamin' which will be released by Hardcore Holocaust this year. June 2004 / Pena
