There are at least three bands called Mutter: 1) Mutter ist der Name einer Berliner Band, in der Urbesetzung bestehend aus Max Müller (Gesang), Kerl Fieser (Bass), Florian Koerner von Gustorf (Schlagzeug) und Frank Behnke (Gitarre). Mutter gingen 1986 hervor aus der 1982 gegründeten Band Campingsex, die bereits 1985 das damals wenig beachtete und heute gesuchte Album „1914!“ veröffentlichte (das von Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) als eine der zehn besten Gitarrenplatten überhaupt eingestuft wurde). 2 bands: 1) Formed in Los Angeles in 1983 by Spencer Eldridge, Larry Fortunato, Kevin Grover, Jacques Olivier and Eddy Sill, The Mutts became an influential garage rock group during LA's post-punk period and played on bills with many popular acts of the era, including The Go-Go's, The Bangles, Adam Ant, The Dickies, The Minutemen, X, Fishbone and many others. The Muttering Retreats were a Cleveland, Ohio indie-pop trio from 2006-2010 of Chris Collins, Tim Thornton, & Cari Santilli. They self-released a cassette, a full-length, & a digital ep. Cari & Tim now sometimes record under the name Couples Skate Only. .

Marcus Visionary and Dave Whalen have been together as Visionary for the last 11 years. 2005 was a great year for the duo as they set up two labels via Load Media in the U.K; Dance Rock and Lion Dubs.
