The Failures is a Dutch punk / hardcore band formed in Aalten, The Netherlands in 2001. After about a year the drummer left the band and got replaced by Niek ter Horst. In 2008 Wouter Nijmand decided it was time for him to leave and he got replaced by Maarten ten Barge. Around this time, Rens Eijsink joined the band to play the rhodes piano and hammond organ. Formed in the Winter of 2006 Failures is an East Coast Hardcore supergroup featuring past/current members of Das Oath, Orchid, Ampere, Cut the Shit, Cancer Kids, Charles Bronson etc etc etc. They have played a handful of shows around the East Coast & Midwest and released a debut 14 song vinyl only album as a split venture of singer Mark McCoy's Youth Attack! records & guitarist Will Dandy's Clean Plate records in 2008. The Failures' Union is a mid-90's influenced indie rock band from Buffalo, NY. It features current and ex-members of The Exit Strategy, and The Grail and Lemuria. They released their second full length "In What Way", this fall on Paper and Plastick. They also released a split 7" with label mates Cheap Girls. Their album "Sinker" out now on One Percent Press.
