UVERworld (ウーバーワールド) is a Japanese rock band known for their mixture of musical genres such as hard rock, electronic, and beat-boxing. UVERchan, the band's mascot, is a fictional bear-bat like character, which appears on several of their covers. The five-member band known as UVERworld first formed in 2003, and were known as Sound Goku Road(sound極road) or, more popularly, "Sangoku Road." Eluvium is the recording project of Matthew Robert Cooper, a Portland-based musician and composer whose work is a mesmerizing blend of ambience, electronics, classical piano, drone, shoegaze, and minimalism. Since 2003 Cooper's output (including six full-length albums) has been primarily released by New York City label Temporary Residence Limited. He has released music under his birth name and as Martin Eden, recorded in duos Inventions and Concert Silence, and collaborated with Peter Broderick. .

Eluveitie is a folk metal band from Winterthur, Switzerland. The founder of this band was Chrigel Glanzmann. The band formed in 2002 and their first EP, "Vên" came out in 2003. They describe themselves as "The new wave of folk metal". The band then released a full-length album, "Spirit" in June 2006. In November 2007, Eluveitie was signed by Nuclear Blast.
