Zebrahead is an Orange County, CA-based pop-punk/alternative rock/rapcore band which was formed in 1996 by vocalist/guitarist Justin Mauriello (formerly of Once There), guitarist Greg Bergdorf (formerly of 409), bassist Ben Osmundson (formerly of 3-Ply), and drummer Ed Udhus (formerly of 409). Started in 2007 by members of Window Smashers and Those Poor Bastards. Released the split LP / CD "Parasitic Clones Under The Strong Arm Of The Robotic Machine" on Secret Records and Sector Five Records. Toured a bunch and played with Monotonix, Deerhoof, Old Tyme Relijun, etc etc. In 2011 changed from spastic synth punk to a darker metal-punk sound, added Shane (Call Me Lightning) on drums, released the first full length album, and played with High On Fire, Goatwhore, Die Kreuzen, etc. .

Forming in autumn 2011 in Tallinn, Estonia, Zebra Island is multi-instrumentalist Rasmus Lill and vocalist Helina Risti, now joined by Lauri Raus (guitars), Martti Laas (bass) and Caspar Salo (drums).
